David Adeyinka Coker is compelled by higher learning and spiritual pursuits. Whether trying to uplift the local black communities, studying Judeo-Christian philosophies or conducting legal research on regulatory negligence, David is always applying his expertise in the social sciences towards a greater good.

David Coker conducted economic development-oriented policy analysis and research for Health Canada, World Bank Institute and the Food and Agricultural Organization for more than ten years. David was legal counsel with the Trade Law Bureau of Global Affairs Canada prior to joining Ghubril and was also a visiting lecturer in public policy and economic development  at the University of Sierra Leone in 2014-15.

Mr. Coker is a barrister, solicitor and notary public in Ontario. David holds a Doctorate of Jurisprudence, from the University of Ottawa (Canada); a Master of Arts in International Relations, from Carleton University (Canada), and a Honours Bachelors of Arts in Economics, Political Science, Peace and Conflict Studies, from the University of Toronto (Canada).
