Professor John Olatunji Adeoti is an integrity advocate who holds the view that economic progress would yield desirable benefits only when managed by people with integrity and knowledge. To that end, Prof. Adeoti combines his research work in development economics, at the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research with more than 15 years of consultative work in capacity development.
An evaluation and survey specialist, John has been the team lead on impact evaluation projects where education themes and cash transfer programs featured prominently – UNICEF’s Nigeria Girls Education Project Phase 3 Cash Transfer Programme (2016/2017); Improving the Quality of Primary Education and Learning Outcomes in Zambezia and Tete Provinces of Mozambique (2015/2016), and Conditional Cash Transfer for Girls Education in Bauchi and Katsina States (2011/2012).
Professor John O. Adeoti holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Economics from Maastricht University, The Netherlands and has authored six books and several articles in international journals in the field of development economics and innovation studies.
