Robert Tiegs is a storyteller with a quirky sense of humor who delights in the ridiculousness and tries to find joy in the mundane. Dr. Tiegs often asks himself and others: If you aren’t trying to improve the world, what are you doing here? Robert is an intellectually curious romantic who revels in the uncertainty of taking detours in life.
A historian by trade, Robert Tiegs was drawn to this profession because it allowed him to satisfy his adventurous side, by exploring the fascinating and complex world of the past, while also satisfying the storyteller in him, by crafting explanatory narratives from these studies.
